Since its inception, Digital Artist Management (DAM) has serviced upwards of 500 companies and placed thousands of job seekers that develop video games across all platforms, visual effects for film and television, online new media and tool and technology suites engineered to support these companies. With the most experienced team of electronic entertainment industry recruiters and account managers armed with customized full-service staffing solutions designed exclusively for digital interactive entertainment companies, Digital Artist Management has become the premier one-stop resource for candidates and hiring managers alike. In February 2000, Andy Cheren and TJ Summers set out to establish an elite team of talented and knowledgeable recruiters to build lasting relationships with key talent and clients from within the electronic entertainment space. Within the first 5 of its 10 year history, DAM quickly became the largest and most seasoned recruiting firm dedicated exclusively to the unique technical, creative and production hiring needs of developers and publishers within the video game industry. And while the games industry continues to be the bread & butter electronic entertainment vertical market for Digital Artist Management, it has provided DAM with the foundation and knowledge base to branch out and support several other verticals within the digital entertainment realm.
Today, Digital Artist Management is working with approximately 150 active clients throughout North America, Europe and the Pacific Rim - all of which are committed to creating some of the most compelling and innovative games, feature films and online properties in existence.

By January 2005, DAM responded to the growing need of its clientele by establishing DAM Consultants - DAM’s full-service, contract staffing arm. With the addition of this service, DAM was able to expand its client base to include many of the leading studios creating visual effects and technology for feature films and television. As a result, this greatly augmented its talent network and the number of opportunities that could be presented to job seekers. Today, DAM Consultants has been completely integrated into the overall service offering of Digital Artist Management and is available in conjunction with permanent placement services or as a stand-alone service. When 2006 rolled in, DAM took a keen interest in the advent of social networking, virtual worlds, mobile games and Web 2.0. Quickly discovering that many in our talent network were just as interested in these types of development studios as they were with the more well-known games and VFX shops, Digital Artist Management jumped in with both feet and carved out a new vertical market. The Company’s reach in these business segments continues to grow every year and the vertical has become a substantial portion of the company’s overall business.

Come February 2007, the founders at DAM recognized another trend becoming more prevalent in the industry, namely outsourcing and distributed development, and as a result; Production Road was born. By leveraging many of the long-standing relationships built over the years through DAM, Production Road ventured out to take a more active role in product development by prequalifying and partnering with scores of best-of-class content and technology developers both domestically and internationally. From basic art asset creation to core technology to end-to-end transmedia IP development, Production Road not only vets and recommends these partners based on how their core skills match up with the client’s development needs, but also externally manages all of the development thereby removing much of the burden and opportunity cost from the shoulders of the IP holders. We encourage you to visit Production Road for more comprehensive information or you can download the electronic brochure here.
