VP/DIRECTOR OF MARKETING – JGMA6011 – Foxboro, MA
Responsibilities:
- Develop, optimize, and track search-friendly site content and pages for use across all company web sites; develop actionable management reporting and statistics on behalf of all paid and organic search activities.
- Serve as a thought leader across the entire enterprise on behalf of organic-search efforts, including monitoring industry (Google, MSN, Yahoo, etc) and competitor search development efforts and trends in order to position the company as the leading organic-search expert in the online space.
- Develop strategic management relationships with all major online distribution channels.
Qualifications:
- Savvy marketer and business manager with a record of quantifiable achievements, strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to use good judgment and work effectively inter-departmentally, thrive in a multi-task position within a fast paced environment. A can-do professional approach to business and a willingness to be held accountable for results.
- The ideal candidate will have prior experience marketing online services, content or entertainment through online search vehicles and has demonstrated strong strategic ability as evidenced by past performance that is highly-regarded for its superior products/services and the freshness and innovation of its marketing.
- Exceptional management skills in developing and executing sophisticated marketing strategies, tactics, plans and programs.
- Experience in building and launching online services including merchandising online business-to-consumer products and services.
- Highly resourceful; not dependent on large corporate staffs and resources.
- An undergraduate degree is required and an MBA degree is preferred.
Marketing Communications Manager (CWCA6010) - Santa Monica, CA)
Reports to: President
Job Function
Act as a liaison between in all areas related to marketing, promotions and public relations.
Essential Functions
- Works to create asset delivery schedules and asset release schedules and ensures that assets are delivered on time.
- Coordinates employees to prepare and deliver items for promotional use, including files, graphics and other various media information. Meets or speaks regularly with representatives to discuss new marketing or PR deliveries.
- Reviews generated marketing and promotional materials for accuracy and ensure changes are made as necessary.
- Makes suggestions to assist in promotional efforts on products.
- Generates screen shots and game-play footage using proprietary tools.
- Coordinates all marketing/PR approvals through appropriate leads.
- Coordinates to develop coherent presentations (e.g. retailer and media presentations, etc)
- Reviews marketing plans and PR plans.
- Ensures that appropriate branding is maintained in promotional materials.
- Drafts speeches for Project Managers and arranges for necessary speaking aids. Attends presentations as necessary.
- Coordinates interview requests for employees.
- Assists with Company event planning as necessary.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in journalism, advertising, or communications.
- Experience with desktop publishing procedures and software.
- Superior presentation and analytical skills, plus demonstrated skills to handle a variety of assignments simultaneously.
- Excellent writing and editing experience.
- Ability to work under deadline pressure and extra hours if needed on assignments
- Must be highly organized and have good follow-up skills.
PR MANAGER (JGCA6008) – LA Area (Marina del Rey, CA)
- Develops and implements policies and procedures for the public relations department.
- Maintains favorable public image for company by communicating company's products, programs, accomplishments, and/or points of view.
- Prepares and distributes news releases, fact sheets, assets, product, etc. to media outlets for news stories and editorial coverage of products.
- Requires a bachelor's degree in a related area and at least 5 years of experience in the field, or equivalent experience.
- Video game industry experience required.
- Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
- Reports to the president.
MARKETING MANAGER (JGCA6007) – LA Area (Marina del Rey, CA)
- Manages and oversees an organization's marketing policies, objectives, and initiatives.
- Reviews changes to the marketplace and industry and adjusts marketing plan accordingly.
- Requires a bachelor's degree with at least 5 years of experience in the field, or equivalent experience.
- Video game industry experience is a huge plus.
- Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
- Performs a variety of tasks.
- A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
- Reports to the president.
